I have been attending yoga classes with Darshna for about 2 years now and it's the perfect sanctuary to find calm relaxation, after a busy day in the office. I only ask myself why I didn't go sooner and felt immediately welcome and at home. I would thoroughly recommend the classes because of her calmness and experience.

I have been doing yoga with Darshna for over 8 years now and I find her very consistent, honest and motivating towards her students. She is an excellent teacher who takes pain and care to make sure everyone is doing the correct postures. She herself also keeps going for yoga courses to improve and learn new things which she than shares with us. I have tried other yoga classes and I must confess Darshna is the best I have come across.

Darshna is the Yoga instructor for Northwick Park Hospital's Mental Health Centre. She has run a very popular Yoga session for the Adult Acute wards for approximately 9 years. I joined Darshna's yoga classes 6 years ago due to shoulder pain which was caused by bad posture. Coming to her classes, she has transformed me both physically and mentally. Breathe, Believe, Receive... Breathe in positivity, believe in yourself and you will receive the power to do anything. Last Tuesday, I was able to do the head stand all by myself, my legs felt like they were free and light, and naturally went up without effort. Considering this was only my second attempt at the full head stand, I was amazed and got a great sense of achievement. As an avid weekend cyclist, I find myself in a set position with tightened hamstrings and shortened hip flexors. The seating position contributes to a tight body with a lack of joint mobility and spine extension. I was looking at ways to improve my cycling performance, mental focus and breathing. Darshna has helped to find balance and improve my love for cycling. My shoulders are more relaxed, and my body feels more supple, helping me attack hills and bring my average speed up. I feel I have gained muscular strength, and come out of rides with less aches and pains, even on the saddle! I feel balance and stability is also much better, and have seen great improvements in my cadence, and overall alertness is improved through using Yoga breathing techniques before and during the ride.

I really enjoy your classes and the way that you get every muscle group working. As we've been using Zoom, doing sequences has helped me personally to remember names of poses as I have poor short to long term memory. I love the upper body and tummy poses too, as these are areas not often used day to day. I really enjoyed being able to do evening classes on Zoom and I love being able to practice more than once a week, as I probably wouldn't do it on my own. I find I'm in a much better frame of mind after yoga and I feel like it calms me. Thank you so much!

I feel very lucky to have found Darshna’s classes. I travel all the way from Camden to Ealing, first thing in the morning to take part in her classes. Darshna takes into account her students requirements and makes adjustments accordingly for the individual. I love the pace of her class, Darshna doesn’t just go through the sequence or motions she takes the time to make sure alignment of her students is correct before moving forward and uniquely she engages with her students and gives them the opportunity to express what they are feeling through out the class. I feel Darshna’s class gives me the true benefits of yoga, in that not only do I receive physical achievement to my somewhat inflexible body I also obtain emotional release and inner peacefulness.
